Steamboat Springs Music on the Green

Strings is proud to partner with the Yampa River Botanic Park to offer this free outdoor concert series! Grab a morning beverage from your favorite local coffee shop and take a leisurely stroll through the gardens while live music fills the air. With concerts lasting just 45 minutes, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer morning! Join us Wednesday mornings from 10:00 to 10:45, June 26 through August 7. MUSIC ON THE GREEN EVERY WEDNESDAY  /  10:00 AM  /  FREE COMMUNITY EVENT! Join in on the fun August 14 and August 21 for the Music on the Green Evening Celebrations! The season finale features live music from Deer Creek Sharp Shooters and food trucks, making it a perfect way to end the summer!

Carolyn Berns and John Fog  WEDNESDAY  /  JUNE 26  /  10 AM  /  FREE Carolyn is a classically trained acoustic and electric violinist who performs with professional orchestras around the country. John picked up the guitar while working on a ranch 30 miles outside Pinedale, Wyoming. He now plays a blend of covers and originals in the Americana vein.

Chamberlin Birch WEDNESDAY  /  JULY 10  /  10 AM  /  FREE Chamberlin Birch, a duo made up of singer-songwriters Jody Feeley and Brad Rasmussen, features a unique style with tight harmonies and creative instrumentation. They affectionately call their style “indie core alt country pop,” a tribute to their versatility.

Erinys Quartet WEDNESDAY /  JULY 24  /  10 AM  /  FREE During the 2023-2024 season, the Erinys Quartet presented concerts around the world, including the United States, Spain, Austria, and Finland. In addition to their studies at Curtis with the Dover Quartet, Erinys is pursuing a diploma in chamber music at Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid, Spain.

Little Moon Travelers WEDNESDAY  /  JULY 31  /  10 AM  /  FREE The Little Moon Travelers blend folk, old-time, and roots Americana influences to produce a sound that harkens to times past. They are thrilled to bring to the world their brand of live roots music!

Opera Steamboat WEDNESDAY  /  AUGUST 14  /  5:30 PM  /  FREE Opera Steamboat will present a preview of their world premiere production of Welcome to the Madness by composer Leanna Kirchoff with a libretto by Rachel J. Peters.

Deer Creek Sharp Shooters WEDNESDAY  /  AUGUST 21  /  5:30 PM  /  FREE The Deer Creek Sharp Shooters were formed by six friends who came together with a common love for bluegrass and a dream to push the limits of acoustic music. The energy on stage when these guys get together is infectious!
