The Gondola House was perfect for our multi-generational family trip! The home is so beautiful, comfortable and convenient! The staff went above and beyond for us! We thought we were going to use the ski trail close by, but the shuttle service was better. It felt almost like we had our own driver all week. The drivers were kind, knowledgeable about the area, and treated us like they’d known us for years! We will stay with Steamboat Lodging Company every time we visit!

The house has everything we needed for our extended family, 4 adult couples and a baby. Clean and remodeled recently, kitchen fully supplied. Hot tub was clean and functioned well. A short walk to the slopes on the new gondola side. Shuttle service was excellent. Extra guest house was a nice benefit. We would stay here again.

Very much enjoyed our week stay at Gondola House. original plan was for myself, four adult children (22-30 yo), and grandma to stay. Grandma said she was okay with stairs to get to a bedroom but she dropped out (along with one of my kids) at the last minute. While the bedroom arrangement worked well, not sure having grandma going up and down the stairs would have worked. For the remainder, it was great. opened the windows at night and it was great sleeping weather - even in August. Youngest child had the apartment over the garage - so he could chill out away from everyone else - which he loved. A little warm during the day in summer but not bad with fans. The location was the best part. Easy access to the Thunderhead trail to get to the top (3.4 mile hike from the door to the gondola). 12-15 minute walk either down the trail or on city street to Wild Plum and Truffle Pig (highly recommend both). From Wild Plum are, caught the bus either to City Market or downtown. Did some DIY tubing, went to the botanical gardens - all short drives. Hot tub was nice at night. Spent mornings on the back porch reading and drinking coffee. great stay - thank you all very much!

The house was adorable and perfect for our stay. The rental management was the best I have ever rented from. So friendly and accommodating. We were there for a boys soccer game and they even left granola bars with a good luck sign with it. Such a great personal touch. There was a hiccup with the door code and they were super responsive. The place had great beds and everything we needed. I would love to come back.

My family stayed at Gondola House this June and it was the perfect home for our family vacation. We adore Steamboat and wish we had found this home earlier for past vacations. It's private, right on the mountain, and has the most incredible views of the gondola and the valley. Plenty of room to spread out amongst the rooms and it's been renovated recently so everything felt updated. We cooked and grilled a lot and the kitchen was stocked and ready for us. The bedding is new and nice and opening the windows at night for fresh mountain air is highly recommended. My nephew came up and stayed in the caretaker room above the garage which was awesome for space and privacy. We had a slight issue with the hot tub not being warm enough when we arrived, but we chatted with Steamboat Lodging Company about it and since it was recently cleaned, it just needed a little more time to warm up. Not a problem for a clean hot tub, that's for sure. Overall, 10 outta 10 for this home and we're already booked for our winter ski trip!

Our group of nine thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The walk to the slopes was short and easy, and the free shuttle provided by the lodging company was very convenient for most other transportation needs. The living room, kitchen and dining areas were perfect for our group, and most of the bedrooms are lovely (though the twin bedroom and its bathroom are a bit sub-par). We had a few maintenance issues, but thought the property managers were very prompt and responsive in dealing with them. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Gondola House. Our children and their spouses met us to celebrate our anniversary. There was plenty of room for all of us to eat, visit and play games. The house was very clean and furnished with everything we need. And, the owners sent a bottle of wine to help us celebrate. Thank you for an awesome experience!

The Gondola House was the perfect size for our group with plenty of space as well as in an excellent location. The slopes are a short walk away to where we were able to walk and hop on a run down to the base of the gondola and ski off and walk back to the house every day. The shuttle service that Steamboat Lodging Co. provides is also very convenient and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The house was more than spacious for our ten-person group. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities you would need to cook for a big group. The additional care taker's house is also a very nice feature to allow some people to be away from the main living area if ever necessary. The house is also very close to being able to ski-in/ski-out, only a couple hundred feet walk to the nearest access to the ski trails. Steamboat lodging company was also very responsive to our questions/requests. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house is very nice and really well-located. Great, well-equipped kitchen. Well-furnished. Comfortable bedrooms and great hot tub. Our family of 5 enjoyed a wonderful week skiing in Steamboat. The management company is very responsive, helpful and friendly.

I cannot thank Peggy and Nolan enough for all the help they provided before during and after our stay!! You guys are awesome, and all the little extra touches ie the candies, coffee, wine and, per my mom, the kleenex, made everything even more amazing!! thanks again for a fabulous mini vacation and we will definately go through you again next game!!

Had a wonderful stay in steamboat. Steamboat lodging company was a pleasure to work with. Had a few problems and they were there immediately to fix them. Very attentive and went out of their way to see that we had an enjoyable vacation and memorable family wedding. Will definitely let them handle our future vacations in steamboat.

Our family of 9 adults and one child enjoyed the Gondola house very much. Our only initial problem of no heat in the room above the garage was promptly dealt with the next morning (it was in the 40's at night). Loved the long table we could all gather around. Very comfy, roomy. Cooking facilities very adequate. Only suggestion--add a Keurig coffee maker and possible a French Press. We brought along the latter but not the former.

The Steamboat vacation was made easy through Steamboat Lodging from arrival to departure and all the trips in-between. They were friendly, helpful and made a large family vacation go smoothly. Thanks for helping us have more time on the slopes and less time figuring out all the details of a vacation.

Everything was wonderful at the house. A few suggestions would be to change where the fire alarm is in the kitchen. Every time we cooked it went off. It was extremely annoying. Also, you need more plates. You have plates for 8 but it sleeps 12. The only cutting board was super small. You need larger ones....maybe a few plastic ones would be great. Other than the above, it was very comfortable and clean and priced very well. Thank you!!

We went up with a group of 10 (four adults, three college students and three teen/preteens) and had a fantastic stay. There was plenty of room to sprawl out and for everyone to have their own space too. We took full advantage of all the fun around the property. We hot tubbed day and night, went for walks, mountain biked, and enjoyed our meals on the large scenic deck. The kitchen was roomy and fully equipped. Our only regret is that we didn't book a longer trip! We will be back!

This home was clean and comfortable. It was wonderful having this many bathrooms. The management company was very accessible and they were in contact before, during and after our stay. The only concern we had while at the property was the lack of screens on the windows. It was very hot and we had to sleep with the windows open which allowed for bugs to come in.

We really enjoyed our time in Steamboat for our son's wedding, and the Gondola House was perfect for our needs. We had a group of family and very close friends stay together, and the house is set up perfectly, with multiple bathrooms, great common space for hanging out, and awesome outdoor options like the deck and hot tub. Our only regret was that we were so busy with wedding activities, we didn't get to spend much time just enjoying the space. Steamboat Lodging was amazing to work with, and I can't say enough about their helpfulness, responsiveness, and kindness. We reported a small leak around the base of the toilet, and it was fixed within a very short time. They even left a sweet gift for the newlyweds! Thank you very much for a terrific experience!!

The instructions for check-in were perfect. When we arrived, we were greeted with a basket of goodies. The house is located just a short walk away from the slopes and if you don't want to walk the shuttle service is available. Great kitchen with tremendous views.  Steamboat Lodging is a great company. I would rent through them again. Great vacation.

The Gondola House is a great place for a larger group or family to stay on the mountain at Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. It is not a new house but is bright, simple, and clean. It is well equipped with kitchenware, new appliances, a gas and a charcoal grill, and lots of furniture. The best thing is watching the gondola and the great view from the large indoor windows or the comfortable porch. This house is near to being "ski-in, ski-out" in that it is a short walk downhill from the Stampede run near the base to the house. The walk back uphill to get back on the run was challenging for me but I live at sea level. It is about 1/2 mile to the base but would be difficult to walk due to the elevation. Inside there are three bedrooms with king or queen beds, one with twin beds for the kids, a small loft overlooking the living room with a bed, and the separate "caretaker" apartment for those who would like more privacy. The only thing missing was a hot tub. Steamboat Lodging did a great job of communication.

We had a great time at the Gondola House. It was the perfect size for our group of friends (loft was a little small) and getting back and forth from town and the mountain was easy with the complimentary shuttle. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect if you have a big family- its just right for you. Everything was clean when we got in. We had a blast. I enjoyed having all the plates and kitchen materials. It was very spacious and had a wonderful view. It was in good shape and didn't look like an old lodge. I loved the outdoor sitting area.

Traveled up from Denver with some friends for Thanksgiving Weekend. This was a great house. Loved the open layout of the kitchen, dining room and living room. Watched the most amazing sunset with the Gondola going by. Comfy furniture and beds and the perfect gathering place for a big meal. Steamboat Lodging Company was welcoming and helpful with all of our questions and vacation details. Thank you and we will be back!

This house was perfect for our mountain biking trip! Loved getting out of Denver for a long weekend. We had eight guys and the location and views were amazing. There's a large deck off the kitchen and it's right under the Gondola! The main floor is all open with lots of windows, a large kitchen, dining room and living room area that was a comfortable place to all hang out. The kitchen was lacking a few cooking items, but Steamboat Lodging Company was awesome and delivered what we needed to our door! Thanks for a great stay.
