The Howelsen Place is our go to lodging. Unit B211 is very spacious, well maintained and well equipped. The kitchen has all new modern features. Having a ski locker in Steamboat Gondoal Square is an added touch. Plus being downtown is so convenient and within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in Steamboat. We'll definitely stay here again in the future.

We loved B211, our condo. It had everything including a great location for downtown activities like shopping and dining! The heated garage was great for keeping the car out of the cold weather and snow. The bus line to the slopes was right across the street and a great way to get around the city as well. We will be staying there again soon.

Huge space for a 1 bedroom spot! Even has a 1/2 bathroom. Terrific little patio that we hope to enjoy when we're back in the summer. Location can't be beat with easy walking to all the shops/restaurants in downtown. Super clean and the lodging company was terrific/easy to work with. We will be back!

Good Value One Bedroom 1 1/2 baths, underground parking, ski locker onsite at resort, easy walk to Express Shuttle -  Great in-town location. Clean, clean, clean!!! Underground parking Elevator Near shuttle stop- Ski locker steps from shuttle drop off and pickup at ski resort. Gas fireplace, washer/dryer. Excellent kitchen, open living, bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

We loved everything about this trip! The Howelsen Place was a wonderful location right in the heart of the town. The room itself was great! It was good size, clean, nicely decorated, and we enjoyed the outdoor common space. There was great communication with the Steamboat Lodging company staff. You can walk everywhere and it was easy to rent bikes by a nearby shop. We would highly recommend this place and we hope to return again in the near future!

We travel frequently and usually rent a home or condo at our destination. This was by far, the best experience we have ever had with a management company. Every request was met with a cordial response and the a follow up call or text to make sure we were satisfied. Just the best!!

The condo was well appointed and includes a beautiful terrace with perfect views of Sleeping Giant. It’s conveniently location in the heart of downtown Steamboat walking distance to any of the shops and restaurants as well as the Old Town Hot Springs. The property management team is attentive and responsive to any needs you may have. These folks know how to provide excellent customer service! Highly recommend!!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Howelsen B211 unit. The condo was spacious and had all of the necessities. This is the first time we've stayed downtown and it was really enjoyable. My wife doesn't ski, so having so many options for shopping & restaurants was an additional treat. Also having the locker storage facility at the Gondola Ski club was a real BONUS. We'll be back sometime, hopefully soon.

Had a fantastic stay right in the heart of Steamboat Springs. The property is located just off of Main Street so every restaurant and shop was right outside the door. Skiing and snowshoeing were just minutes away!

The condo B211 in the Howelsen building is a wonderful spot for enjoying all that downtown Steamboat has to offer! You can park your car when you arrive and walk to everything downtown - super convenient. The condo is nicely appointed and very clean!! Steamboat Lodging was wonderful to work with from booking through to the end of our stay. Excellent customer service -- recommendations for downtown restaurants to celebrate our anniversary; checking with us several times to see if we had any questions about our upcoming stay; making sure we got settled into the condo -- Steamboat Lodging takes the customer experience seriously and wants to make it the best possible!!

We enjoyed the rental property and the location is great and near where our daughter and her family live in Steamboat. We really liked the space and would rent it again.

This condo is in a great location. The ski locker at the gondola base area was super convenient. In town location allows the non skiing person to shop around. The kitchen is also very well stocked. Thanks for the great stay!

This location was perfect for us. We're picky about furnishings, window shades to block light in the morning and cleanliness, and this condo met our needs. The furniture and linens were comfortable. The garbage trucks and/or snowplows do come by early, so bring ear plugs (we did and it was fine). Baths are nice and the kitchen had everything we needed. You can easily walk to restaurants or grab the free bus to the mountain and the ski locker was super-convenient. I had technical issues getting my instructions to get into the unit after our flight landed, and the property manager was super-responsive and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Rental in downtown Steamboat couldn't have been better. Walking distance to everything in town including the Hot Springs. Would definitely rent again.

This was our fourth ski trip to Steamboat and the best accommodations we've had. The space was bright, the rooms generously sized. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything was clean and tidy. The downtown location is convenient and near the free shuttle stops. The locker at the Gondola Ski Club was handy. Steamboat Lodging Company was easy to work with and the app containing all of the logistical information was user-friendly. We would definitely book through them again.

MANAGER'S COMMENTS:  Wow, great to hear Claire!  The Howelsen Place B211 condo is one of the largest one bedroom condos in the builiding and definately bright with large rooms. We are so happy that it's been your best lodging option yet!  Our guests enjoy the convenience of having access to their own private locker just steps from the Gondola.  It helps not having to carry all of your gear back and forth.  We hope you'll come back and stay with us real soon.  It's still snowing in Steamboat!

I would definitely book with Steamboat Lodging Company again. The process was easy and the rental was so clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We loved downtown Steamboat. The only problem was the garbage trucks/delivery trucks in the alley in the early morning hours, (I'm a light sleeper though) other than that, a perfect week in Steamboat with Steamboat Lodging. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo in Old Town Steamboat Springs. The condo was a very large one bedroom that was beautifully appointed. Having a reserved parking space in the building's garage was also a big plus. We enjoyed walking to dining and shopping in the area and especially the great meal we had at Aurum's. We had a very nice drive (~30 miles) to Hahn's Peak Lakes where we had a nice (easy) hike and picnic. Overall great experience!

This condo is very well-appointed and in a great location. Although we had been to Steamboat several times, we had always been in the winter; we thoroughly enjoyed visiting in the spring. This was also our first time to stay downtown; being able to walk to shops and restaurants was so convenient. This unit is very spacious, one of the cleanest we've ever rented, and all the furnishings were very nice and up-to-date. I am very picky about hotels and rental condos but we would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I loved this property! The location downtown with all the restaurants, bars and shopping options within a short walk. We did ski at the main resort, and the bus delivered us right by the private locker storage and Gondola. Pretty darn easy. Maybe not ski in-ski out easy, but the options around this place make us want to return in the future. Definitely would stay downtown again, and this unit #211 was furnished amazingly well. Who puts a Viking stove-top and refrigerator in a rental? This one. Also- the management team was outstanding.

My wife, adult son and I spent the Christmas holidays in this condo. We were in Colorado to look at ranch property. Steamboat seemed a good fit with our search and was central to the properties we were looking at. This condo is in the heart of downtown. Most of the downtown dining is within easy walking distance. The condo itself was well appointed and worked well for us. Covered parking was provided. Peggy with Steamboat Lodging Company was extremely helpful at every step of the way. We will be back.

Great condo in the heart of downtown Steamboat. We were able to walk everywhere. Kitchen well appointed and huge bathtub my five year old loved. Pull out sofa was ok.

My wife and I enjoyed two terrific weeks at Howelsen Place in Steamboat Springs. The private patio perfectly connected to the large open living space space. I enjoy cooking, even on holiday, the the kitchen was setup with everything we needed (except for a lime press I bought for margaritas). We have experimented with properties in and around Steamboat. This was the first time we chose a downtown location. We walked to dinner at E3, breakfast or lunch at Winona's, and the farmers market on Saturday. I competed in the Steamboat Springs Triathlon, and trained for an upcoming Ironman 70.3 Running and riding on the trails and the river road was exceptional. Fly fishing on the the Elk and the Yampa with Steamboat Flyfishers and Jeff Ruff as good as I can remember. Golf at Haymaker was above par, (my score) and the course was in great shape. For us, the parking garage made it extremely convenient and secure as we too much gear. Felt completely safe leaving the TT bike and road bikes in the garage, along with the golf clubs. Steamboat Lodging made sure we had everything we needed, and the owner and staff were exceptionally thoughtful and managed every detail of our visit, from the welcoming note and flowers on the table to a last minute request for an umbrella for the private table on the patio. This is a wonderful choice if you are a couple, and looking for private and special place to enjoy Steamboat Springs.

Loved, loved, loved the location. The unit was beautifully appointed and fully equipped. Being a senior citizen I had a bit of a problem with the TV remotes but your technician was ever so prompt to fix the problem. Sunsets on the patio were breathtaking.

My wife and I loved this place. It was in the heart of downtown and we walked to breakfast and dinner every day. We also enjoyed the Core Trail and checking out the ski jumping over at Howelsen Hill. Thanks for a great vacation.
