The ten of us had such a relaxing “glamping” experience after a week of off road adventure. Location was special as it is up near the slopes, away yet not too far from town and private facing onto open space. We heard nothing from the adjoining home. Plenty of room for parking 2 Sprinters and a Jeep w/ off road trailer. Everything we needed was there. There was no air conditioning but fans kept it a coolish retreat from the high heat outside and it was cool in the evening. We’re already dreaming of our next visit as there is so much to do and explore.

This is a beautiful and well-kept home! We all greatly enjoyed our stay; our adult kids worked from "home" and the internet worked well for meetings, etc.The home backs up to the woods and felt very private, with the advantage of the ski resort and downtown Steamboat being only minutes away. The kitchen and living areas were well appointed with everything we needed to cook and be very comfortable. We enjoyed the large dining table for family games, and the living spaces on all three floors, as well as the deck and hot tub. The property management company responded quickly to our texted questions and was very helpful. We loved the cool mountain air in the home, even on days when it was warm outside (there were also fans in each room, but we didn't need them). Thanks for a wonderful week, and we hope to return again to this home!

We just stayed this last week at Stick & Stones Lodge. What a fabulous place to vacation! My husband and I hosted a family reunion with all of our 4 adult children and two friends. With 8 of us, it was fantastic to have 3 living areas, along with 4 bedrooms. The house was like our own personal mountain lodge. The lodge was stocked with all the necessities. We only had to buy food and drinks. We cooked every night and really enjoyed the warmth of the lodge. We had the fireplace going constantly, which provided a glow to the family room. The warm garage to keep our car, the hot tub right off the back deck, and the extra spacious rooms all added to a positive feel. The lodge is in a perfect location. It's only a mile from the slopes and so close to stores and downtown. We used the free shuttle daily and had a great experience with timely service and friendly drivers. We had a few items for which we needed help...we texted our contact and immediately had answers/fixes. I would highly recommend this lodge to our family and friends. It's an A+++ experience.

The Stick and Stones Lodge met all our expectations. My in laws and three children had plenty of room. The views were spectacular! The hot tub was a BIG bonus! We used it everyday we were there. The property was very clean. I would recommend downloading the shuttle app prior to arrival. The shuttle was a huge help as well. Never had to move my rental. I would highly recommend this property. Can’t wait to return!

Loved the home…large cabin, large log beams and wide plank floors. Very comfortable interior…2 king bedrooms and a Queen room, all with a private bath. Perfect for our family. The garage was a plus…no snow removal on my Jeep. Easy walk to the ski village. Five minute drive to downtown.

The house is in a nice location. However the coffee pot needs to be replaced (the drip system doesn't work properly and coffee grounds spill into the carafe). Also had to wash dishes by hand because the dish washer doesn't work well. Suggest replacing these 2 items. Otherwise house was clean and beds were very comfortable.

The Stick & Stones lodge was a great property. Actually better than the pictures (a first!). The shuttle service was fantastic and the Steamboat Lodging Company was great to work with. Very receptive and always available. Next time I come to Steamboat, I will start with them when looking for property to rent.

We absolutely loved this home - it made for a perfect family Christmas gathering. The layout provides for plenty of room and the furniture quality and comfort was top- notch. The pictures shown are accurate but the 'real thing' is even nicer aesthetically. If we had any questions or a minor issue, the property management team was extraordinarily responsive. As a frequent renter of vacation properties, this has to be at the top of our list. The shuttle provided was a big plus for us and was always timely - so convenient! Highly recommend the house and Steamboat as a vacation spot!

Property was clean and well prepared except that hot tub did not function properly. Except for that, service was exceptional! Will definitely use Steamboat Lodging again and hopefully come back to Sticks& Stones Lodge. Thanks

Sticks and Stones did not break our bones…exactly the opposite! The house was incredibly cozy and comfortable. It had all the necessities and many luxuries - we did not want for anything. It’s easy access from downtown but tucked away for a peaceful stay with potential for wildlife viewing. We had a mama moose and her baby stop by, and later a visit from a wandering bear. Ending the night with a soak in the hot tub under the stars was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Steamboat. Even with limited snow. This home is just wonderful. Super clean and spacious. They have everything you need if you are cooking at home. Beds are so comfortable. And the hot tub is awesome. It stays warm and it’s just perfectly located so you have a beautiful view of the outdoors while being extremely private. Highly recommended. The rental agency is top notch. Peggy and team helped us with any questions we had - they are exceptional !!

We couldn’t be happier with the house and the service provided by Steamboat Lodging Company! The house was absolutely beautiful! Rustic mountain ambiance, spacious, and with all the amenities that you could think of. The hot tub was a bonus. SLC is great to work with. They communicated frequently and made sure everything was perfect! Will definitely book with them again.

Very relaxing get away during the 4th of July weekend. Cabin was very inviting with 3 levels. Sits at the end of 2 duplexes with good privacy and quiet. Has a beautify brook that runs next to cabin, enjoyed the back deck for grilling, dinning and relaxing. Proximity is close to Steamboat Ski Village and a mile or so from Walmart, shops, liquor and grocery stores. approx 10 minutes to downtown.

This property was perfect for our ski vacation in Steamboat! The huge stone fireplace with a roaring fire, the gurgling hot tub outside among the snowy trees, and the beautiful log cabin ambience all contributed to perfect family- time togetherness! The kitchen had everything you could wish for, and we really enjoyed cooking dinner "in" after a day on the slopes! Everyone is excited about a return trip-this was a beautiful place, and Nolan and Peggy took great care of us- more than attentive to all our needs! Thank you so much!

I want to thank you so much for the wonderful experience my whole family had at Sticks and Stones house, the home was beautiful and clean with a relaxing sundeck even had the chance to watch a couple of young bears try to tip over the grill! Also thank you for the birthday gifts . I am going to try and get everyone back next summer. --Gary

As the (usual) trip organizer (AKA cat herder), I selected the Sticks and Stones Lodge for the decor, layout, proffered amenities as well as the convenient location to the slopes and the Sheraton hotel (5 minutes, 7 max), where most of our group were attending a conference in the early mornings. Our original group of 7 eventually swelled to 9, and even though there was room (but only one couple with a shared bed) 4 decided to stay elsewhere. So the remaining 5 of us had plenty of room for cooking, privacy, spreading out, naps, watching non-stop news (relegated to the ground floor only)! and working on laptops for those who just HAD to bring work with them. We even hosted two casual dinner parties of 12 - 20 people with ease. The house itself is spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised in all its designer log cabin glory! It is actually one of a mega duplex, but you wouldn't know, seriously, there is absolutely no hint of interaction, even on the deck. The kitchen and interior lighting were excellent, the walls were thick for privacy, the laundry was conveniently positioned for minimal water tracking from the very well maintained hot tub, the garage was handy for our ski gear. The kitchenette on the ground level was helpful, especially for entertaining. We got over 30 inches of snow during our stay, so much that we could only get one SUV into the garage due to the snow piled up on the sides of the driveway. (First world problems, right)? What the listing doesn't tell you is how spectacular and professional the Steamboat Lodging Company is at managing their vacation rental and guests. I'm not new to the vacation rental game, have been doing this for many years and we own rental properties as well, and these folks were just awesome. Our repeatedly snow-covered driveway was bulldozed out daily; the deck and hot-tub cover (which we used and got 4-5 inches daily) were shoveled and swept clean; when we couldn't find a promised crockpot one was promptly delivered; we needed more dinner plates for a birthday celebration and didn't they go to the store and bring us 10 new ones? What?!? Peggy patiently and calmly answered all of our questions before and during our stay and answered the emergency line promptly when we were out in the falling snow and couldn't get the door code to work a couple of times. Ben, God bless him, carried out all of the above tasks and deliveries quickly and as cheerfully as one could wish, as if we weren't being too needy! I would rent again from SLC in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was well-equipped for all of our needs. Our kids appreciated the supply of games (and foosball!) and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Convenient location to access Thunderhead lift when using shuttle service. Customer Service was excellent, from pre-planning (loved having lift tickets waiting for us!) to check-out.

Great cozy, warm home. Group of 6 men used this place for a weekend ski getaway. Home was spacious, big, warm and cozy. Transfer services were quick and efficient. We will use this place in the future.

The house worked well and we enjoyed the week in Steamboat over Christmas. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the shuttle service and drivers were super. This management company does a good job.

We recently visited Sticks and Stones - the place was perfect! The layout is great for two families - the kids took over the upstairs bedrooms, bathrooms and loft and then each pair of adults had their own bedroom and bathroom on the lower two levels. We arrived to a clean house that was beautifully appointed. We loved the hot tub out on the deck and our kids even got the chance to see a moose hanging out right near the house! I highly recommend the property and would love to stay here again the next time we travel to Steamboat!
